World Firefighters champion is from Trebišov

The worldwide success of our expedition at the World Firefighters Championship was also experienced by Miroslav Princík, whom we support in becoming a world-class leader. The World Firefighters Game could not have been complete without the Slovak expedition. The smallest in number, but all the more high-quality. It has seven gold, three silver and one bronze medals to its credit.

100 countries and over 4 500 athletes took part in the championships. Our representatives were Ladislav Noskovič (44) from Bratislava, Erik Noskovič (43) from Piešt'any, Miroslav Princík (40) from Trebišov, Ivan Kurimský (36) and Pavol Varchola (40) from Bardejov, František Ridzoň (29) from Brezno and volunteer firefighters Peter Krochmal (37) and Dana Varcholová (49) from Starý. Our firefighters competed in power triathlon, athletics, running, armwrestling, tennis and indoor rowing. They proved that they are not at all in numbers and despite the hard work they know how to prepare well and compete with the best in the world.

We have known Miroslav for a long time and his determination, tenacity, and demanding nature have been evident from the beginning. As he says himself, if you want to be the best, it also costs money for training, quality nutrition and equipment. We are happy to help him so he can fully do what he is the best in the world at.
