1999
In July 1999, Miriam and Jozef Poništoví established a forwarding company in Trebišov with the backing of German investors Interwaggon GmbH and Agotrans GmbH. By October, they had executed their first client transport.
2005
With the addition of new team members, the company relocated to a larger office space, five times the size of the original, to accommodate the growing team.
2006
In 2006, the remaining shares of partners Interwaggon and Agotrans were acquired, making Miriam and Jozef Poništov the sole proprietors of the company.
2007
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition jury awarded a Special Award to owner M. Poništová.
Additionally, the company established an Educational Academy to professionally train new hires.
2008
The Forum of Young Global Leaders, in collaboration with the Association of Entrepreneurs of Slovakia, honored owner M. Poništová with the "Young Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year 2008" title.
2010
Our creative work calls for creative events, therefore we have established a tradition of themed Christmas parties. The first party, despite the winter season, was characterized by warm summer and Hawaiian tones. Christmas parties are held annually, each with a different theme.
We want to archive our company activities and the company chronicle was no longer sufficient. Therefore, the first issue of our newsletter DeutschFunn was created, where we began to recall amusing incidents, experiences, and company events. The newsletter is still being published to this day.
2011
Upon meeting all membership requirements, the company becomes a recognized member of the Association of Logistics and Shipping of the Slovak Republic.
DeutschMann secures a quality management system certificate in accordance with the ISO 9001:2009 standard. This completes its comprehensive system of organizational operations.
The company's impressive work caught the attention of the acknowledged Forbes magazine editors, leading them to dedicate a section to the owner M. Poništová and our company philosophy.
2012
DeutschMann joins the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA).
Our company is committed to environmental protection and aims to showcase a strong environmental profile by diligently managing activities related to the environment and controlling the impact of all its activities, products, and services on the environment.
In response to clients' needs for transport in the Balkans, the company establishes a subsidiary in Varaždin, Croatia.
2013
In response to clients' requests for their own vehicle fleet, we enter into a partnership with our long-standing partner. This leads to the expansion of the company with a subsidiary, DeutschMann Transport, based in Rajec, where our own trucks are stationed, many of them customized for special transport for our top clients.
The second corporate relocation paves the way for a future vision of potential personnel expansion.
2014
Following a financial analysis by the National Information Center of the Slovak Republic, our company was honoured with the Seal of Creditworthiness. This prestigious award was given to only 1.2% of the 224,000 evaluated commercial entities in the Slovak economy that year.
We were recognized as a Diamond of Slovak business in Eastern Slovakia.
In January, we hosted a spectacular event to celebrate our business partners. The event also supported charitable activities through a raffle collection. This event is now an annual tradition, always emphasizing charity and helping others.
We expanded our global footprint by establishing a subsidiary, DeutschMann FZE, in Dubai, primarily engaged in commercial activities.
2015
Our company met the criteria for the TOP Rating certification assessment, which is the D&B Rating risk factor assessment. We received the highest possible grade of "1"
Once again, based on the financial analysis of the National Information Center of the Slovak Republic, our company was awarded the Seal of Creditworthiness. This honor was granted upon only 1.3% of the 681,156 evaluated commercial entities in the Slovak economy that year.
Investing in our future - the youth, we funded a magazine for high school students across the entire Košice self-governing region.
With the continuous intake of new employees, now exceeding 100 individuals, we expanded our office space by leasing another floor of our building. We now occupy 1800 square meters across three floors.
Despite strong competition from well-known names, we won in several categories at the company-wide competition, received the Public Award, the Inspirational Project award, and became the absolute winner of the Great Employer 2014 category.
2016
We were recognized by JUSTITIUM sro for our excellent payment discipline in 2015.
Our director, Miriam Poništová, was a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 competition.
Once again, based on the financial analysis of the National Information Center of the Slovak Republic, our company was awarded the Seal of Creditworthiness. This honor was granted upon only 1.6% of the 716,134 evaluated commercial entities in the Slovak economy that year (11,574 firms).
We decided to participate in a humanitarian project and donated approximately 14 liters of blood. Thanks to this massive event, several of us have become regular blood donors.
We opened our company doors for future graduates of middle schools in Trebišov, who through various activities had the opportunity to better get to know life and work in our company.
15 employees participated in a First Aid Course.
We contributed to three selected families in financial emergency to make their Christmas more beautiful.
2017
We were recognized as the best employer in Slovakia according to public evaluations on the portal in the category "Transport and logistics" for the year 2016.
Once again, based on the financial analysis of the National Information Center of the Slovak Republic, our company was awarded the Seal of Creditworthiness. This honor was bestowed upon only 0.87% of the 734,055 evaluated commercial entities in the Slovak economy in 2016.
